Workforce Success in Queensland hosts a workshop role for a Mechanical Fitter to overhaul and rebuild pumps, gearboxes and other rotating equipment used in mining and heavy industry. You’ll strip, assess, rebuild and assemble components in a clean workshop with an experienced team.
The ideal candidate has a trade qualification in mechanical fitting and hands-on experience with pumps or rotating machinery, plus fault-finding skills and a background in fixed plant or mining maintenance.
