Because we focus on business clients, you will not be stuck processing high-volume, repetitive individual tax returns. Instead, you will do meaningful advisory and compliance work.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Manager and Principal, you will receive exceptional mentoring to accelerate your career. You will enjoy direct client contact from day one, managing end-to-end relationships rather than just processing data behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial & Tax Preparation: Prepare high-quality Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Sole Traders, Companies, Trusts, and SMSFs.
- Compliance Management:



Oversee monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS).
- Cloud Advisory: Assist clients with modern payroll systems, Single Touch Payroll (STP), and proactive Payday Super management.
- Client Collaboration: Act as a trusted point of contact, resolving tax queries and delivering high-value solutions.
- Team Support: Work closely with the Manager and Principal to streamline workflow and support junior staff.

What You Bring

- Experience: 3+ years in an Australian public practice (Business Services) role. Overseas experience will not be considered.
- Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Xero is essential; experience with Class Super is highly desirable.
- Tax Knowledge: Up-to-date, solid understanding of current Australian tax legislation.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication with a natural ability to build rapport with business clients.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred. CA/CPA qualification (or progress towards it) is a plus, but not essential.
- Attitude: A positive, cooperative mindset with sharp organizational skills.
