About the Role

The Patient Services Assistant role offers a variety of responsibilities that may differ across sites, including patient transport, clinical support, bed making, cleaning services, food service, equipment movement, and restocking supplies, all contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Certificate III in Health Services Assistant
- Ability to work autonomously & physically fit
- Ability to use CARPS
- Experience using various equipment including bed movers, wheelchairs and trolleys desirable.
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).



Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.

Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
