Help shape how people engage with planning, lands and heritage projects across Western Australia.

We’re looking for a practical, people-focused engagement professional who can turn complex projects into clear, meaningful conversations with stakeholders and communities. In this role, you’ll support teams to plan and deliver quality engagement, provide trusted advice, and help build better outcomes through informed, inclusive and well-coordinated engagement.

The role is expected to partner with internal business areas to deliver strategies, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of and engaged in the Department’s strategies, programs, projects and initiatives.

The role will also collaborate with communications, digital marketing and other functional specialists within both the Corporate Communication directorate and the Stakeholder Engagement directorate, to deliver high-quality end-to-end services, continuous improvement and achieve best practice outcomes.

This is pool recruitment process for permanent full time, and fixed term full-time opportunities. This pool may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise within the Department and across the WA public sector in the next 18months from the initial date of appointment.

To be successful for this position, you need todemonstrate:

- Demonstrated experience in developing, delivering and measuring community and stakeholder engagement strategies and programs in a relevant organisational context.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary, best-practice engagement methodologies and standards for community and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement and communication content, across various mediums to support the delivery of organisation objectives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context as outlined below.

The Personal Leadership context is about the work of individuals not yet in traditional leadership positions who make a direct and immediate difference to the agency.

Special Requirements for this position:

The Department will conduct a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check for applicants successful to this recruitment process.
