About the role:
Our client, an established food manufacturing operation, is seeking two experiencedProcess Quality Technologiststo support site food safety, compliance and continuous improvement activities. One role is for afternoon shift and one is for night shift. This role will start off on a 12-month fixed term contract with a chance becoming permanent afterwards.

This role is well‑suited to someone with robust QA/food safety experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in root cause analysis, non‑conformance management, customer complaint investigations, and process improvement.

About the Role
Reporting to the Food Safety & Quality Manager, your key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining compliance withHACCP, BRC, Halal, Kosherand customer‑specific quality programs through audits, inspections, validations and training
- Applyingroot cause analysistools and drivingCAPAto resolve issues and prevent recurrence
- UsingStatistical Process Control (SPC)to support product quality improvements and enhance CpK
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, documentation and timely completion of actions
- Supporting production with timelyproduct releaseand technical quality guidance
- Promoting a culture wherefood safety and qualityare central to daily operations and leadership behaviour
- Leading and supportingcontinuous improvementand structured change initiatives
- Leadingnon‑conformance investigations,



customer complaint reviews and ensuring timely reporting
- Managing non‑conforming stock, rework, inspections and product returns
- Collaborating with Operations and R&D; to ensure NPD meets food safety and quality requirements
- Delivering thesite quality improvement roadmapby leveraging data insights and cross‑functional teamwork

Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Bachelor’s degree inFood Science, Microbiology, Chemistryor a related field
- 3 years’ experience in food manufacturing QA or food safety
- Strong background inroot cause analysis, CAPA, non‑conformance and complaint investigations
- Experience with SPC, data analysis and continuous improvement methodology
- Excellent communication skillswith the ability to collaborate effectively withProduction, Quality, R&D;and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
- Competence with computer systems (Advanced Excel and SAP desirable)
- Solid understanding of food manufacturing processes and unit operations
