About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking reliable and customer-focused Weighbridge Operators to join their recycling facilities.
This role is responsible for managing the safe and efficient movement of vehicles through the weighbridge process. You will accurately record incoming and outgoing loads, verify documentation, interact with drivers and customers, and ensure all site procedures, safety standards and environmental requirements are followed.
Full training will be provided for the right person, making this a great opportunity for someone with strong administration, customer service or logistics experience looking to step into a new role.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles carrying recyclable materials
- Record load details and maintain accurate documentation
- Verify customer and transport paperwork
- Complete basic data entry and computer-based administration tasks
- Communicate professionally with drivers, customers and site personnel
- Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental and operational procedures
- Support effective site operations and traffic flow
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Must be availble to work a rotating roster between the hours of 6am and 6pm
- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable and safety-focused approach to work
- Previous experience in administration, logistics, transport, gatehouse or weighbridge operations is advantageous but not essential
