The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accounts Officer to support our finance team at our Kembla Grange office.
This hands‑on role will provide broad finance support, including:
Accounts Payable – matching invoices, coding, reconciling statements, and supplier queries
Accounts Receivable – issuing invoices, reconciling accounts, processing payments, and debtor management
Payroll & Labour Hire Support – validating timesheets, assisting with payroll data, and reconciling labour hire invoices
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and issue customer invoices and statements accurately and in a timely manner.
Upload invoices into customer and supplier processing systems.
Process EFTPOS transactions and allocate bank receipts.
Proactively manage accounts receivable, including following up overdue payments and resolving outstanding account queries.
Match, code and process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier accounts, and schedule payments.
Monitor and maintain compliance with Purchase Order (PO)
requirements and internal procurement processes.
Support payroll administration by validating employee timesheets and reconciling labour hire invoices.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer, supplier and employee records within company systems.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to investigate and resolve finance‑related queries.
Assist with month‑end activities, audit preparation, and the implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance financial controls and efficiency.
What you will Bring:
Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or payroll support
Familiarity with ERP systems (MYOB preferred)
High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
Confidence using Excel, Outlook, and Word
A positive, proactive, and team‑oriented approach
