Stretford Personnel are working with our client to recruit a Warehouse Operator based in Castle Hill.
About The Role
The Warehouse Operator plays a vital role in assisting in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks. Assisting with managing inventory, and operating forklifts, this position requires organisational skills and attention to detail.
The Warehouse Operator is also tasked with maintaining a clean and safe work workplace, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritise duties in consultation with Senior Warehouse Operator.
- Report any low packaging supplies to manager.
- Perform picking, packing and despatching of orders via warehouse technology.
- Receive, check-in, and store incoming deliveries.
- Data entry in the warehouse management system.
- Perform replenishment tasks using forklift or manual handling.
- Load and unload pallets from trucks using forklift or manually.
- Unload containers and sort stock as required.
- Conduct stocktakes as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and dispose of rubbish in work areas.
- Use telephone systems for internal communication.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operate machinery safely.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Possession of a Driver's License and current Forklift Driver's License (preferred but not essential).
- Organised and forward-thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Pleasant demeanour and helpful attitude towards colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining expected outcomes.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling company resources.
