Aboriginal Health Practitioner Identified Position
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under theNSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What you’ll be doing
- To work across all areas of the Broken Hill Health Service including acute and non-acute with particular focus on ED presentations of Aboriginal people. Providing versatile, holistic and culturally appropriate health services to Aboriginal people and their families.
- This will be on a 7-day rotating roster (weekdays afternoon/night shifts; weekends day/afternoon/night shifts).
