Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Registered Nurse. The daily duties and responsibilities include:

- Perform routine clinical study procedures and other protocol tasks as instructed by the reporting manager.
- Ensures the safety of the study participants at all times by monitoring, and have the knowledge and competence to deal with medical emergencies
- To ensure assessments performed are of high quality and on time as per protocol requirements.
- Complete worksheets and other source documents with high accuracy.
- Be familiar with and follow the relevant clinical trial protocol, and protocol amendments and recognise and address departures from protocol.
- Be competent at the required trial related procedures and practice within own abilities and qualifications.
- Admit, orientate, and discharge participants to the SCR as required.
- To report promptly and ensure the follow-up of any adverse events
- Supervise study participant compliance with specific trial and in-house rules and requirements whilst recognising the participant’s rights.
- Assist in participant education to comply with trial related issues.




- Filing and archiving of clinical study data and participant records as required.
- Attend and participate in appropriate meetings and training sessions
- Maintain and reinforce confidentiality of information.
- Identify after hours incidents and situations which require core staff attention and contact appropriate staff member.

Education – Bachelor degree or higher qualification required. Experience & Skills

- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Tertiary education in Nursing is required.
- Must hold current AHPRA Nurses Registration
- Basic knowledge of clinical trial processes and GCP
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised taking responsibility for own actions.
- Good team player with ability to work in a cross functional team
- Valuable written and oral communication skills
- Good empathy for volunteers/patients and customer focus.
- Preferably, Knowledge of GCP and clinical trial experience
- Performing ECGs and assessment of standard vital signs
- Basic CPR
- Basic computer skills

Salary - Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is between $80,000 - $110,000
