Must be Flexible to work some OT and weekend when needed
Afternoon Shift 3pm start
This hands-on role is key to ensuring the continued reliability, performance, and safety of our plant and equipment. You'll play a crucial part in driving operational excellence through best practices in safety, environmental compliance, product quality, housekeeping, and equipment utilisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promote and model safe working behaviours in alignment with Tyrecycle’s OHS standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with SOPs and statutory obligations.
- Proactively contribute to a high-performing team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
About you:
- Solid understanding of safe work practices and manual handling procedures
- Experience and Qualified Maintenance Fitter/Machinist -Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Fitter)
- A collaborative team player who’s hands‑on, dependable, and solutions‑focused
- Strong problem‑solving abilities with a practical mindset
- Solid safety minded focus
- Electrical disconnect/reconnect licence (highly regarded but not essential)
