Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings Pty Ltd (TTSPH), a subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), serves as the regional headquarters for the South Pacific division, with its head office based in South Brisbane.
TTSPH is the authorised Toyota distributor across seven South Pacific nations: Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Samoa, American Samoa, and Tonga. What you’ll be doing
We’re looking for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our HR and L&D; team and support the delivery of impactful learning experiences across our South Pacific operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their L&D; career who is looking to develop their skills, gain exposure to a broad range of learning initiatives, and make a meaningful contribution to employee growth and development.
As the Learning & Development Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the successful administration and coordination of training programs, ensuring learning activities are delivered efficiently and professionally. From scheduling programs and managing learning records to supporting compliance reporting and learning technology initiatives, you'll help create a seamless learning experience for employees across the business.
Working closely with leaders, employees, L&D; team members, and external training providers, you'll contribute to building capability across the organisation by supporting engaging learning programs that help our people develop new skills, grow in their careers, and perform at their best. Through your collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement,
you'll help foster a positive learning culture that aligns with our values and supports business success.
Key aspects of the role
- Coordinate the end-to-end administration of learning and development programs, including scheduling, enrolments, participant communications, attendance tracking, and completion monitoring.
- Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of existing learning pathways and training materials.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, facilitators, and external training providers to ensure effective program delivery.
- Coordinate training logistics including venues, virtual learning platforms, equipment, catering, and training resources.
- Maintain accurate learning records and support the transition to and ongoing administration of a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Prepare learning data and insights relating to participation, completion rates, compliance requirements, and program effectiveness.
- Support learner feedback and evaluation processes, including survey administration and analysis.
- Act as the first point of contact for learning-related enquiries, delivering qualified and customer-focused support.
- Assist with learning budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, and general administrative activities.
- Support compliance and audit requirements relating to learning and development activities.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, documentation updates, templates, and standard operating procedures.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, improvement,
and development across the organisation.
What you'll bring to the team
- At least three years' experience in an administration, coordination, or support role, ideally within Learning & Development, Human Resources, Training, or a similar function.
- A qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate learning records and administration processes.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and a passion for supporting employee learning and development.
- Robust Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and professional approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
