About your new Role:
As a Member Claims Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for members navigating the superannuation claims process. You’ll handle inbound and outbound calls, provide clear and empathetic support and manage claims across Death, TPD, Income Protection and Terminal Illness. With a strong focus on service, accuracy and compliance, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless claims experience, ensuring every member feels informed, supported, and valued.
- Support claims case management and ensure completion within defined SLAs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with members, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up across multiple systems.
- Review claim information submitted and prepare recommendations to the Fund Trustee.
- Demonstrate initiative, manage workload independently, and take ownership of correspondence.
- Support regulatory and product initiatives by providing claims-related data and member experience insights
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and contribute to risk and incident management.
