Our client, a reputable aged care provider located in Campbell, ACT, is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.
This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe, functional and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- General repairs and maintenance across the facility
- Preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Maintenance of grounds, gardens and outdoor areas
- Monitoring and maintenance of building services and equipment
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Coordinating and supervising contractors when required
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintaining maintenance records and documentation
About You
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or property maintenance role
- Strong practical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Experience within aged care, healthcare, retirement living or hospitality environments will be highly regarded
Requirements
- Current Driver's Licence
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to complete any required pre-employment checks
