We are seeking an experienced operator to join a reputable contractor delivering drainage works on a new road corridor project in the Rochedale / Eight Mile Plains area.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure up to 9 months of consistent work on a well-established project, with an immediate start available.

You will be operating 8–14 tonne excavators in a confined work environment, excavating around existing underground services and supporting the installation of stormwater and drainage infrastructure.

We are looking for an operator who is both highly accurate and productive, with proven experience working alongside pipe crews and excavating safely in tight, service-heavy environments.

Pay & Conditions

- $50.00 per hour
- Penalty rates apply where applicable
- Daily travel allowance
- Higher hourly rates may be negotiated for exceptional experience and proven drainage expertise
- Long-term project with consistent hours

To Be Considered You Must Hold

- Excavator ticket
- Demonstrated experience operating 8–14 tonne excavators
- Proven experience working on drainage and pipe laying projects
- Strong experience excavating around live underground services
- Ability to work safely, accurately and efficiently in confined work areas
- White Card
- Reliable transport and open communication around availability
