Background in finance, legal documentation or settlements essential
Our client is an established equipment finance business operating across a broad commercial client base. With a growing pipeline and a high-performing sales team, the business is investing in a dedicated documentation specialist to own the end-to-end execution of finance agreements, freeing the sales function to focus on what they do best. This is a newly created role with real operational impact from day one.
This is not a back-office processing role. You will be the person clients interact with at the critical final stage of a finance transaction, attending site visits, navigating objections from senior decision-makers, and ensuring every agreement is completed accurately and on time. If you are highly organised, confident in a room with C-suite executives, and take pride in getting the details right, this role is worth a closer look.
The role will also require you to:
Coordinate the signing of finance agreements including director guarantees and all supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step.
Collect and verify company financials and identification documents from applicants, managing the process with minimal friction for the client.
Attend client site visits to explain documentation requirements, address objections, and obtain signatures from senior stakeholders.
Maintain explicit communication with internal sales and operations teams to keep transactions moving and avoid delays or rework.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in equipment finance, asset finance, settlements, or legal documentation, or a strong understanding of corporate finance and compliance processes.
Confident communicator with the interpersonal skills to engage and influence C-suite executives on complex compliance and guarantee requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and independent workload management.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for client site visits across Sydney.
