About Us

We are a growing civil construction company providing plant and equipment hire throughout the Hunter Region. With an established fleet of excavators (3.5T–22T), trucks and supporting equipment, we work with a range of repeat clients including Transport for NSW, local councils and commercial contractors.

About the Role

This is a hands-on coordination role where you will be responsible for maximising the utilisation of our plant and equipment while maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.

You’ll manage existing work, coordinate upcoming bookings and actively seek additional hire opportunities to keep our fleet operating efficiently.

This position offers a high level of autonomy and would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work. We welcome applicants who can introduce new systems, processes and ideas to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and allocate excavators (3.5T–22T), trucks and operators.

Coordinate daily movements of plant and equipment.

Liaise with existing clients including Transport for NSW, local councils and commercial customers.

Manage forward bookings and identify opportunities to maximise fleet utilisation.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.





Communicate with operators regarding schedules and site requirements.

Monitor plant availability, servicing requirements and downtime.

Maintain accurate scheduling records and job information.

Develop and improve scheduling systems and processes.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys solving logistical challenges.

You’ll ideally have:

Experience in plant allocation, scheduling, transport coordination or a similar role.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Robust communication and customer service skills.

Confidence using computers and common office software.

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

A problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.

A willingness to develop and implement improved systems and processes.

Experience within the civil construction, earthmoving or transport industries will be highly regarded.
