Location: Gladstone, Queensland, Australia, with travel to other manufacturing sites such as Newcastle and Melbourne as required

Purpose:

The Onsite Engineering Manager will act as the primary site facing engineering interface between the client stakeholders and Tech Mahindra's offshore engineering team.

The role will support identification, prioritisation, clarification and delivery coordination of brownfield, Management of Change (MOC), and small to medium engineering packages. The position is intended to strengthen site engagement, improve engineering clarity, enable effective work packaging, and provide a strong site to offshore engineering linkage for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary onsite engineering point of contact for client project and site stakeholders.
- Support identification and prioritisation of brownfield, MOC (Management of Change) and site driven engineering opportunities.
- Participate in site walkdowns and capture site inputs, photos, field data, constraints and assumptions.
- Support client stakeholders in defining scope boundaries, requirements and execution priorities.
- Translate site requirements into clear engineering inputs for Tech Mahindra'¿s offshore delivery team.
- Coordinate engineering package kick off, work packaging, discipline alignment and delivery planning.
- Provide engineering judgement on scope clarity,



assumptions, site conditions and constructability considerations.
- Track package progress, technical clarifications, actions, risks, dependencies and decision points.
- Coordinate technical queries, review comments and issue resolution between site stakeholders and the offshore team.
- Support preparation of scope of work, engineering basis, input checklists and deliverable registers.
- Engage local engineering / compliance support where RPEQ, statutory review or specialist validation is required.
- Build client confidence in offshore engineering delivery through visible ownership, responsiveness and clear communication.

Experience Profile (Indicative)

- Senior Piping / Mechanical / Civil / Structural engineering background preferred, with multi discipline exposure.
- Strong experience in brownfield, live plant or manufacturing site environments.
- Good understanding of MOC driven engineering, site constraints and operational safety requirements.
- Comfortable working with operations, maintenance, reliability, projects and engineering stakeholders.
- Hands on engineering mindset with solid site presence and practical problem solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to convert site inputs into clear engineering deliverables.
- RPEQ registration in Queensland preferred; experience working with RPEQ / local compliance partners will be an added advantage.
