Are you a driven internal audit skilled ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join a high-performing team, in a large Chartered Firm, working with a diverse portfolio of clients in the Financial Services, Utilities, Mining and Government sectors based in Brisbane (QLD).
In these positions, you'll be at the forefront of delivering risk-based operational, compliance, and internal audits, with opportunities to get involved in specialised audits including ESG and broader emerging risk work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end internal audits across a range of government clients.
- Engage in specialised audit areas including ESG and Emerging Risk (DA/AI) projects.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across diverse entities.
- Collaborate with a supportive, inclusive, and culturally diverse team.
- Work flexibly in a hybrid model with the ability to manage your own time and workload.
- Train, coach and guide juniors.
About You:
- Qualified or part-qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or other,
a degree-holder with 2+ years of internal audit experience (industry, government or chartered).
- Proven ability to lead audits end to end.
- Previous experience within external audit will be considered, however some Internal Audit or Risk Assurance experience is needed.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and a collaborative team player.
- Comfortable working independently and within team environments.
- Australian & NZ Citizenship or SPOUSE or VISA holders are welcome to apply; however you will already be established in Brisbane.
