We are currently seeking a Graduate Surveyor or experienced surveyor to join the team at Cooper McCullough Group, working across multiple projects throughout Central Queensland. This is a full-time position responsible for providing surveying services to support the company’s civil and construction projects in the region.

We are open to applications from graduates through to experienced senior Surveyors and strongly encourage candidates of all skill levels to apply.

What you’ll be doing

- Conducting land and engineering surveys to collect accurate data for the design and construction of infrastructure projects

- Preparing survey plans, maps, and other technical documentation to support project activities

- Liaising with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver timely and effective survey solutions

- Operating survey equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and drones to capture field data

- Analysing survey data and generating reports to inform project decision-making

- Ensuring all survey work is carried out in compliance with relevant standards and regulations

- Providing advice and support to the broader engineering team as required

What we’re looking for





- Tertiary qualification in Surveying (or working towards for graduate applicants)

- Proficiency in the use of survey equipment and software (level commensurate with experience)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and project teams

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
