Farmers Fruits and Vegetables Pty Ltd is a growing fresh produce retailer committed to providing customers with high-quality fruits, vegetables, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our store and lead our team to achieve outstanding business performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, direct and control the daily operations of the retail store.
- Manage and supervise store staff, including recruitment, training, rostering, performance management and development.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock ordering and minimise stock loss and wastage.
- Ensure fresh produce is displayed attractively and maintained according to quality standards.
- Manage store budgets, sales targets and financial performance.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximise sales.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and company policies.
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory and store performance for management.
- Maintain a clean, organised and protected shopping environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail management or retail supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
- Experience in the fresh produce, grocery or supermarket industry will be highly regarded.
Salary: Annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000, depending on skills and experience.
