ETA are currently seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join an exciting oil and gas site in Sydney. Opportunities with ongoing work, solid overtime, and the chance to work on a variety of industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Welding small and large bore carbon and stainless steel pipework in workshop and onsite environments
- Welding in accordance with relevant Australian and International Standards (ASME XI)
- Completing and understanding work packs, including material and weld traceability requirements
- Minor structural steel fabrication and welding as required
- Reading and interpreting isometric and engineering drawings
- Working autonomously and as part of a team
- Maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity





Skills & Experience Required

- Demonstrated experience as a Pipe Welder
- Ability to successfully complete multiple 6G pipe weld tests
- Experience welding using:
- GTAW (STT)
- SMAW
- FCAW

- Capability to achieve 100% X-Ray quality welds on carbon and stainless steel pipe
- Experience with structural welding using SMAW and FCAW processes
- Strong communication skills and a positive, reliable work ethic
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
