This role focuses on delivering high-quality training and support to operational staff, including onboarding, driver assessments, and regulatory compliance training across Load Restraint, Dangerous Goods, Chain of Responsibility, Defensive Driving and Manual Handling. You’ll play a critical role in helping people thrive in their roles, while continuing to grow in yours.

The Role

Based in Brisbane, with occasional travel across SEQ and interstate support as required.

- Deliver group and one‑on‑one training, both on‑site and on‑road.
- Provide coaching in key operational areas including chain of responsibility, fatigue management, and compliance.
- Complete pre‑employment assessments for drivers and forklift operators.
- Conduct verification of competency (VOC) assessments for the operational team.
- Support team members in understanding and applying policies, NHVR regulations, and WHS legislation.
- Work collaboratively with branch leaders to support staff development and capability.
- Be part of a national Learning & Development team that shares knowledge and supports growth.

Qualifications

- At least 1 year of operational experience in the heavy vehicle industry.
- Must have Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122).
- A current MC Licence and forklift Licence.
- No training experience needed – we’ll provide the tools and support.
- A genuine interest in developing others and being a role model.
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Hold or willing to obtain:
- Cert III in Driver Operations (TLI31222) or Supply Chain Ops (TLI30319).
- Cert IV in Transport & Logistics (TLI41310 – Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction).
