Due to planned business growth our team is expanding and requires an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations day-to-day, managing small but capable teams within our manufacturing facility as well as on site, you will manage production and operations resources daily to ensure that every project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Reporting to the General Manager, This isn’t a management position where you spend your day behind a desk. We’re looking for someone who wants to make a difference, leads from the front, sets the pace, keeps production moving and builds a culture of performance, high standards and accountability that people want to be part of.

Key Responsibilities

- · Lead, mentor and manage a multi disciplinary production team
- · Plan and coordinate all production resources and suppliers to meet project deadlines
- · Ensure compliance with company standards and WHS requirements
- · Oversee procurement and stock/inventory control
- · Manage staffing levels, productivity, and output performance
- · Coordinate contractors and vendors
- · Monitor and control manufacturing budgets in conjunction with the GM




- · Interpret engineering and shop drawings
- · Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Skills & Experience

- · 2–3 years’ experience in a similar production or manufacturing leadership role
- · Experience in Marine / Marine construction & manufacturing (highly regarded)
- · Strong leadership and team management abilities
- · Ability to read and interpret engineering/shop drawings
- · Proven resource planning and organisational skills for workshop based and site based teams
- · Experience with procurement optimisation and inventory systems desirable
- · Autonomy to make an impact and drive improvements
