About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent accounting graduate, or someone with 1–2 years’ experience, to gain hands‑on exposure across financial accounting, reporting, compliance, budgeting and commercial finance within a growing and dynamic organisation. Working alongside an experienced and supportive finance team, you’ll receive valuable mentoring, develop practical skills, and gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities that will accelerate your professional development.

You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, support business decision‑making, and develop a practical understanding of how finance helps drive business performance across Australia and Current Zealand.

Key Accountabilities

- Review, process and record financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Support month-end accounting close activities and related reconciliation processes.
- Review and reconcile internal cost allocations across the business.
- Assist in the preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS and GST returns.
- Support the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns and compliance requirements.
- Generate and maintain accurate financial and operational reports to support business decision‑making.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.
- Support annual compliance activities and statutory audit requirements.
- Prepare reports and insights for internal stakeholders and management review.
- Maintain company asset registers and schedules across Australia and New Zealand.
- Complete daily bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
- Manage foreign currency conversions and related reporting requirements.




- Reconcile corporate credit cards and calculate employee reimbursements.
- Partner with the Senior Accountants to support daily cash flow management and reconciliation of the 12-month cash flow forecast.
- Contribute to the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Assist with month-end financial processes.

About You

You’ll possess a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn, together with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. You’ll also bring:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related discipline
- Recently graduated, or with 1–2 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with spreadsheets, formulas and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Organised and methodical
- An exceptional level of integrity and professionalism
