Level 33 is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our growing projects team. With a strong pipeline of Class 2 residential projects across Sydney and Wollongong, we are looking for a commercially driven CA who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a high-performing team.
Reporting to the Project Manager and Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of projects from procurement through to final account.
You will play a key role in protecting project margins while maintaining strong subcontractor and supplier relationships.
- Prepare, issue and evaluate subcontract tender packages including detailed scopes of work
- Conduct tender comparisons and assist in subcontractor negotiations and procurement recommendations
- Draft, review and administer subcontract agreements
- Manage the full subcontract lifecycle from award through to final account
- Assess and certify subcontractor progress claims in line with contract conditions
- Identify, price, negotiate and manage variations
- Maintain accurate cost tracking, budget control and monthly forecasting
- Monitor project cash flow and assist in financial reporting to senior management
- Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure commercial alignment with programme delivery
- Manage supplier procurement, purchase orders and invoice approvals
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, contracts and company procedures
- Assist with project close-out including defect management and final accounts
ABOUT YOU
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator in construction, delivering Class 2 projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in construction management systems
