We are seeking a full-time Electrician Apprentice to join our team in partnership with Precision Fire Protection Services.

This full-time opportunity offers hands‑on experience alongside industry experts and the chance to complete the highly regarded UEE30820 Certificate III in ElectrotechnologyElectrician, helping you build a strong foundation for your career as an electrician.
Since 1998, Precision Fire Protection Services has been supplying, installing, and maintaining fire protection systems across NSW. We serve commercial, retail, industrial, and residential clients with trusted expertise.
In this role, you will be mentored by experienced professionals and gain valuable hands‑on experience within the Minor Works team, supporting smaller‑scale fit outs, refurbishments, upgrades, and special projects across commercial, retail, education, health, infrastructure, and related environments. Minor Works projects may involve automatic fire sprinklers, fire hydrants, hose reels, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency warning and evacuation systems, portable fire extinguishers, special hazard systems, and associated compliance works.
The successful candidate will receive guidance from the expert team at Precision Fire Protection Services and benefit from a combination of on‑the‑job training and formal coursework while developing practical electrical skills in a fast‑paced Minor Works environment.
Key Duties
- Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of fire protection systems on Minor Works projects
- Support fit out, refurbishment, upgrade,
and special project works across a range of sites
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, design layouts, and project specifications
- Support senior technicians, electricians, and project managers with day‑to‑day site activities
- Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and a clean, protected work environment
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Attend training sessions and complete relevant coursework
- Assist with system maintenance, troubleshooting, defect rectification, and documentation as required
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 2:30 pm
- Full‑time contract with annual and personal leave entitlements
- Weekly pay for consistent earnings

- Opportunity to access Governmentsubsidy payments up to $2,500 during the apprenticeship
About You
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You should be prepared to undertake physical work in both indoor and outdoor environments, be willing to travel, and comfortable working at heights.
In addition to these qualities, you will:
- Have completed Grade 12, demonstrating strong performance in mathematics
- Hold a Construction White Card or be willing to obtain one upon commencement
- Possess a valid driver’s licence
- Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely at all times
- Exhibit a strong aptitude for detailed and technical tasks
- Be reliable, self‑motivated, and eager to learn
- Be committed to attending TAFE and successfully completing all practical and theoretical training components of the apprenticeship
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Have previous work experience or a pre‑apprenticeship (highly regarded)
- Be able to pass a Pre‑Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
