Duties and Responsibilities

- Manages the end‑to‑the‑end tax compliance process for Funds, Corporate and Fringe Benefit returns, and Business Activity Statements.
- Performs quarterly corporate tax provisions, and year‑end tax provision.
- Maintenance of Vanguard tax risk management and governance policies.
- Partners with Fund Accounting/ Corporate Accounting to streamline and/or develop current processes.
- Acts as a point of contact for tax‑related queries, including putting forward a recommendation of resolution to the Tax Manager and taking the lead to resolve internal clients.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships across Vanguard and external suppliers to achieve mutually agreeable goals.
- Develops and keeps abreast of legislative and regulatory tax developments to support implementation of applicable changes and tax planning.

Skills

- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent of experience and training.
- Minimum of eight or more years of relevant tax experience
- CA, CTA or CPA qualified.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Tax and the Funds Management industry (preferred)
- Advanced in Microsoft Office.




- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
