Job Title: Techincal Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Site-based Application Support
- Visit mine sites to assess pumping systems used for slurry transfer, reagent dosing, tailings, and related applications.
- Conduct site audits and system assessment to identify operational issues.
- Diagnose root causes of performance problems and recommend practical, implementable improvements.
Application Optimisation & Troubleshooting
- Support commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist customers in improving reliability, uptime, safety, and maintenance practices.
- Support trials, demonstrations, and validation of pumping solutions where required.
Technical Support to Sales
- Provide technical input and application guidance to support sales opportunities.
- Attend customer meetings as a technical specialist when required.
- Support technical evaluations, specifications, and application clarification — without direct selling responsibility.
Knowledge Sharing & Training
- Deliver practical training to customers, sales colleagues and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to application notes, case studies, and best‑practice guidelines.
- Share field experience to strengthen internal technical capability.
Collaboration & Communication
- Proactively collaborate and communicate with Group/Factory Engineering, Technical, Management, Training Teams, and relevant Sector Managers to support solution development, drive effective knowledge transfer, and ensure successful customer outcomes.

site engineers, and maintenance teams
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience working in mining, mineral processing, heavy industrial environments, pumps, or manufacturing industry.
- Hands‑on exposure to site‑based engineering activities such as commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance support, or system audits.
- Experience with pumping systems, slurry handling, or reagent dosing is advantageous but not mandatory.
Technical Capability
- Strong practical understanding of industrial processes and equipment behaviour.
- Ability to analyse problems at site and propose realistic, protected, and effective solutions.
- Comfortable interpreting P&IDs; and basic engineering documentation.
Personal Attributes
- Practical, hands‑on mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently at remote sites.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical issues simply and effectively.
- Trusted by customers for technical judgement and independence.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel to mine sites across Australia.
