Head of Transformation (2-year fixed term contract)

Opportunity

Dual reporting to the CEO and EGM of Technology, Digital and Data, and partnering closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board, the Head of Transformation will establish and lead our transformation program, driving enterprise-wide change across our retail and wholesale businesses.

You will be responsible for orchestrating MTO's transformation strategy across four critical pillars:

- Omni-channel Experience
- Property Reform
- Data Foundations
- Amazing People

This role will be instrumental in accelerating MTO's transition to a customer‑led, digital‑first and data‑driven organisation while ensuring measurable commercial outcomes are delivered.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Establishing and leading MTO's Transformation Program, driving end-to-end transformation and high performing ownership across Retail and Wholesale.
- Developing and governing MTO's enterprise transformation roadmap.
- Driving delivery across systems, platforms, data, operating models and people change initiatives.
- Leading executive-level governance, reporting and prioritisation frameworks.
- Partnering with Retail, Wholesale, Technology and Corporate leaders to align strategic priorities.
- Managing risks, dependencies and critical transformation interlocks.




- Defining and tracking benefits realisation to ensure investments deliver measurable value.
- Supporting Board and Executive decision-making through clear insights, reporting and recommendations.

About You

You are a proven transformation leader who thrives in complex, rapid‑paced environments and knows how to turn strategy into execution.

You'll bring:

- Extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- A track record of delivering measurable business outcomes across people, process, technology and data.
- Solid executive and Board-level stakeholder management experience.
- Expertise in governance, prioritisation, risk management and benefits realisation.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on ROI, performance improvement and value creation.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
- Digital and data fluency, including exposure to ERP, eCommerce, customer and data platforms.

Experience within retail, automotive, multi‑site, distribution or consumer-facing businesses will be highly regarded.
