Estimator/Project Administrator required for busy structural steel construction company in Berrinba.
We are one of Queensland’s foremost structural steel fabricators and erectors with a solid 46-year history in the construction industry and are responsible for some of the most prominent structures around South-East Queensland. Due to recent expansion, the move into our new modern facility, and an increase in tendering activity and projects under construction, we are looking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Estimator/Project Administrator to join our growing Estimating and Project Management team.
You will be responsible for:
- The preparation of tender submissions based on engineer’s and/or architect’s tender drawings
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
- General administration duties associated with project management
To be successful you will need:
- High level of organisational and communication skills
- Medium to high level of computer literacy
- Ability to multi-task, coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently manage your own workload to meet pressing deadlines
- Be reliable and dependable
- Previous experience in the structural steel industry and a trade background will be highly regarded
