The Opportunity

Our client is investing in a senior sales hire to drive their next phase of growth. This is an active business development and demand generation role delivered through a partner-led sales model, rather than a passive channel account management position.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating market demand directly through face-to-face engagement with building owners and their representatives, and specification consultants. You will then work alongside the client's established Australian partner ecosystem to convert that newly created demand into partner-led project opportunities and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive Partner Revenue: Generate demand to make the established Australian partner network more productive, giving them stronger customer pull and helping convert qualified opportunities.
- Build Direct Demand: Sit across the table from building owners and their representatives, asset managers, and portfolio stakeholders to present value and shape demand that flows back to partners.




- Win the Consultant Community: Build strong relationships with building services consultants, sustainability advisors, and project managers to improve visibility and get the technology specified earlier in major projects.
- Expand into Recent Zealand: Scope the market, assess potential partners, and build early relationships to lay the groundwork for a repeatable channel-led entry plan.
- Market Leadership: Represent the brand professionally at industry events and provide structured market feedback internally to improve go-to-market strategies and product positioning.

Who We Are Looking For

- You are a senior sales operator with a proven track record of demand generation and business development within the built environment (such as building management, energy, HVAC, automation, or property technology).
- You have demonstrated success in growing revenue through direct customer engagement and channel partners.
- You possess a strong network involving building owners and their representatives, property portfolios, or building services consultants.
- You are highly confident in delivering face-to-face presentations to both technical and senior commercial stakeholders (including the C-suite).
- You have excellent CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting abilities, and are comfortable managing a national territory with regular travel.
