DevOps Engineer | API, CI/CD & Automation Projects
Compas is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a major digital transformation program, with a focus on building APIs, improving CI/CD processes, supporting DevOps automation and developing real-time monitoring dashboards. This role is ideal for someone with strong full stack development experience, practical DevOps knowledge and the ability to work closely with technical teams and stakeholders.

Location: QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW or SA – Hybrid

Contract Duration: 12 months, with 1 x 12-month extension option

Security Clearance Requirement: Current Baseline clearance required

Essential Tasks:

- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for application performance and user metrics.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with tools such as GitLab, Jira and Microsoft Teams.
- Support CI/CD, code deployment, system automation and DevOps optimisation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during development iterations.





Key Criteria:

- 2–3 years’ experience developing full stack applications using Node.js and React, Vue or Next.js.
- Demonstrated experience with Atlassian Jira, VSCode and DevOps practices.
- Experience implementing APIs and integrating with ALM tooling.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.
