About the role
As a Camden Hire Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repairof a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles. You’ll ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready for hire, playing a key role in keeping our operations and customers moving.
You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team that values quality workmanship, efficiency, and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, plant, and traffic equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
- Manage time effectively to meet operational priorities
- Ensure compliance with WHS and company safety procedures
What we’re looking for
- Relevant trade qualification (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, or Plant Mechanic)
- Own tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Working hours are negotiable and will be discussed during the interview process.
