About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for Trainee Train Drivers in the BMA Rail team at Hay Point Coal Terminal. You will be rewarded with an exciting and challenging career path as well as an attractive remuneration package including access to the BHP Share Scheme.

As a BMA Trainee Driver, you will operate within Safe Work practices to ensure the reliable delivery of coal from BMA Mine sites to the Hay Point Coal Terminal.



It is critical that you perform all duties in accordance with Network Rules, Regulations and Safe Operating Procedures.

About You

- Proven commitment to Safety
- Confidence to speak up when others put themselves or others at risk
- Ability to maintain high standards to compliance with all working procedures
- Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven attendance record (either school or recent employment)
- An eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- The ability to foster a teamwork atmosphere within your work group
- Unrestricted Open C Class Driver's License
- Exposure or background within Rail or similar operations (advantageous but not essential)
