Driveline Auto Repairs is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic / 4th Year Apprentice to join our team in New Town, TAS. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive repairs and maintenance services to our valued customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a reputable and growing company in the Automotive Trades industry.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues in vehicles
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on vehicles
- Test and replace parts as needed, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and more
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to efficiently complete tasks
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair methods
- Engine and Transmission overhaul

What we're looking for

- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures




- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical issues
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- A valid driver's licence
