OMNI GeoX is an Australian exploration consultancy delivering high-quality geological services to the mining industry across Australia and internationally. We are seeking a motivated Graduate / Junior Geologist to join our team in the United States for an exciting Greenfields exploration program.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career geologist to gain valuable hands‑on experience while working alongside experienced exploration professionals.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Geologist, you will assist with a range of exploration activities across remote project areas. This is a field-based position offering exposure to all aspects of early‑stage mineral exploration.
This is a three‑month contract with an immediate start and a view to extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Geological mapping and interpretation.
- Soil sampling and sample collection.
- Rock chip sampling.
- Recording accurate geological observations and field data.
- Assisting with daily exploration activities.
- Maintaining high standards of data quality.
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Working effectively within a team-oriented field team.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A Bachelor of Science (Geology) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with geological mapping, soil sampling and rock chip sampling (desirable).
- Strong observational and problem‑solving skills.
- A willingness to work in remote field environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A current manual driver's licence.
- Qualify to work in the United States (essential).
- Previous field experience or exposure to Greenfields exploration programs will be highly regarded.
