P&C; Planning & Performance Manager

Location: Sydney | Hybrid | 2-Year Maximum Term Contract

This isn't a traditional Planning & Performance role. It's an opportunity to build the governance, planning and performance capability that enables an entire People & Culture function to operate at its best.

Partnering directly with the Executive General Manager and P&C; Leadership Team, you'll establish the operating rhythm across five People & Culture portfolios, bringing structure, discipline and visibility to how work is planned, prioritised, governed and measured.

You'll play a critical role in connecting strategy to execution, ensuring leaders have meaningful insights into priorities, risks and outcomes while shaping the story presented to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.

What You'll Build

- A consistent planning and operating rhythm across the People & Culture function.
- Governance frameworks that improve visibility, accountability and decision‑making.
- Executive reporting and Board insights that clearly articulate the impact of the People Strategy.
- Portfolio planning disciplines that connect strategic priorities with delivery.
- Performance reporting that enables leaders to focus on what matters most.
- A culture of transparency, prioritisation and operational excellence across the P&C; portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing

- Partner with senior P&C; leaders to drive planning, prioritisation and portfolio governance.
- Develop executive dashboards, Board papers and strategic reporting.
- Facilitate planning cycles and governance forums across five P&C; functions.
- Provide visibility of progress, dependencies, risks and outcomes across the People portfolio.
- Support leaders to prioritise initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
- Translate strategic priorities into clear,



actionable delivery plans.
- Shape how the People function communicates its impact across the organisation.

About You

You thrive in complex environments and enjoy bringing clarity, structure and focus to competing priorities. You're commercially minded, highly organised and know how to partner with executives to drive strategic outcomes.

Most importantly, you've built governance, planning or portfolio capability within a People & Culture environment and understand how high‑performing People functions operate.

You’ll Bring

- Demonstrated experience within a People & Culture function in a planning, governance, PMO, strategy, transformation or business operations capacity.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks, planning disciplines or portfolio management practices.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience preparing executive reporting, Board papers and strategic presentations.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
- The ability to translate strategy into practical plans, priorities and measurable outcomes.
- A continuous improvement mindset with exceptional organisational capability.
