About the Role
Pathology IT Application Support Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical and administration support for the applications, systems, and equipment utilised by Northern Pathology Victoria. This role will ensure reliable, secure and productive operation, maintenance, and optimisation of pathology information systems and associated technologies to support high-quality laboratory services. The role will work closely with Pathology team, EMR, Vendors and NH ICT team.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Medical Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least three years’ experience with relevant industry, preferably experience with laboratory information systems (e.g. ULTRA LIS and pathology middleware e.g. AMS, Aqure, Testo) with demonstrated ability to learn and understand new systems.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-changing environment, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Have a high attention to detail,
organizational and time management skills.
