Integrated Logistics Specialist (ILS) | Federal Government

About the Opportunity

- Join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team driving a critical, large-scale intelligence capability program within a secure Federal Government environment.

- Utilize your expertise to deliver vital sustainment and logistics engineering support, directly contributing to the capability and readiness of critical national security systems.

What's on Offer

- Contract/Engagement: Initial 12-month contract + extension options

- Rate/Salary: Competitive Market Rate (dependent on experience)

- Location & Flexibility: Canberra ACT (with potential for approved hybrid/flexible working arrangements)

Role & Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive sustainment and logistics engineering support, including detailed supportability analysis and maintenance planning for complex data environments.

- Author, review, and maintain premium lifecycle sustainment documentation ensuring alignment with strict organizational standards.

- Lead and manage medium-scale project activities, applying robust project management methodologies, change control, and risk management processes.

- Facilitate regular, collaborative communication with key stakeholders to align project deliverables with broader strategic priorities and business needs.





- Establish effective team structures and track performance metrics to implement preventive or corrective actions when required.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:

- Technical Toolkit: Proven knowledge of supportability analysis and Integrated Product Support (IPS) / Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) frameworks. Familiarity with MILIS or standard Defence logistics processes is highly desirable.

- Experience: Demonstrated track record delivering logistics and sustainment outcomes within a complex Defence or Federal Government enterprise environment.

- Core Capabilities: Solid leadership abilities aligned with SFIA PRMG Level 5, featuring excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the capability to manage project constraints across cost, time, and scope.

Eligibility & Clearance Requirements

- Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current NV1 security clearance .
