Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Educator Remuneration: $120,652.51- $124,565.90 per annum (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable) Hours per week: up to 38 Located in: Leeton Who we are Carramar Aged Care Facility is a 38-bed residential aged care home located at the corner of Wade Avenue and Palm Avenue in Leeton, NSW.



It is operated as a public sector facility by the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (part of NSW Health) and is located on the Leeton Hospital grounds.

What you'll be doing

Using innovative, evidence-based education, you will professionally assess, plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs at Cootamundra and support individual midwives to deliver best practice care and positive patient outcomes.

Your responsibilities

- Inspiring and develop midwives through engaging education, coaching and bedside teaching
- Lead orientation and transition programs to support current and transitioning staff to thrive in their roles
- Partner with clinical leaders to identify learning needs and implement targeted education strategies
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement and evidence-based practice through education and audit participation

Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.

Qualifications

- Current Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).




- Relevant clinical experience (minimum 2 years in a specialty area)
- Strong clinical teaching and facilitation skills, including competency assessment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adult learning principles
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and proven problem-solving ability within a clinical setting.
- Current Australian working rights
