Savannah Goldfields is seeking experienced Open Pit Equipment Operators to join our growing team at the Agate Creek Gold mine. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a professional and safety focused mining company, contributing to one of Queensland's newest mining projects.
As an Operator, you'll play a key role in delivering secure and efficient mining operations while operating a well-maintained fleet of heavy equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating trucks, excavators and production dozers
- Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Maintaining high standards of equipment care and housekeeping
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults and operational issues
- Working in accordance with all site safety procedures and operational requirements
What you will bring:
- Experience operating heavy machinery in a mining or civil construction environment
- A strong commitment to safety
- The ability to live and work on a remote mine site
