About the Vineyard: Nestled on Tasmania’s stunning East Coast near Bicheno, Devil’s Corner Vineyard is a 190-hectare cool-climate vineyard producing exceptional quality grapes for the highly acclaimed Devil’s Corner Wines. Home to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling,
the vineyard is renowned for its picturesque coastal setting and premium fruit quality.
About the Role: Major responsibilities of this position will be to undertake a variety of vineyard duties in accordance with seasonal requirements, supporting the ongoing development, maintenance and productivity of the vineyard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Tractor operation
- Vineyard trimming and pruning
- Harvest operations
- Maintenance of irrigation and trellis systems
- General vineyard maintenance and seasonal activities as required
About You: You are a hands-on and safety-focused machinery operator who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Ideally, you will bring 2–3 years’ experience in viticulture, agriculture, horticulture or a related industry.
You will also have:
- A robust commitment to safety
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude (highly regarded)
