Alltruck Bodies is growing, and our Repairs & Sheeting Division is entering its next phase of expansion. We're looking for motivated, hands-on Trade Assistants who enjoy practical work, take pride in producing quality results, and are eager to develop their skills.

What You'll Be Doing

- Stripping and refitting roof sheets, walls, doors and tailgates
- Removing truck bodies from chassis
- Welding, grinding, cutting, drilling and riveting
- Assisting with the manufacture of van bodies in our Sheeting Department
- Installing wiring, lights and reverse camera systems
- Supporting our Truck Body Builders with day-to-day production tasks
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- General manual handling and workshop duties

What We're Looking For





- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to complete repair work accurately and efficiently
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Sound mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn
- Available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Truck body building or sheet metal experience is advantageous but not essential
