HR Tilt Tray Driver

We are Locally owned and operated transport company based in Gillman and specialise in transporting all types of equipment and heavy machinery across Adelaide and Interstate. Our Fleet of Trucks includes Tilt Trays of varying lengths, Prime Movers, and Low Loaders.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Transporting freight, loading & unloading varying types of cars, equipment and machinery.

- Completing prestart checklists, fit for work and fatigue management processes daily.

- Use of NAVMAN tablet to comply with daily processes of completing jobs, tracking work start, finish, and break times as per industry fatigue policies – training will be provided.

- Must comply and have knowledge on heavy vehicle road rules and regulations.

- Comply with company policies & procedures including, but not limited to conduct at work, safety, fatigue management, OH&S;, PPE, truck maintenance.

- Ability to work on rostered weekends: 1 in 4 weekends, on either the Saturday or Sunday dependent on workload.

Skills and Experience required:

- Able to demonstrate a motivated attitude as well as proven skills in transport driving heavy vehicles.





- Hold a current HR un-restricted driver’s license.

- Proven experience in a similar role, driving trucks of at least 2 years.

- Hold a current Towing Certificate or willing to apply for one.

- Knowledge of correct and safe loading, unloading procedures & load restraint as per industry safety standards. Experience with over mass and over dimensional loads desirable.

- A background knowledge of truck, road and trip specific permits is desirable.

- A sound knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas and approved truck routes.

- Have the flexibility to be able to work away from home on occasion if required.

- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision and have the know how to make decisions to best maximize your time and get the job done safely and on time.
