The role
As editor, you’ll shape the direction and create the content for digital newsletters and websites. Working alongside an experienced publishing team, you will play a key role in developing the editorial strategy to further strengthen the title’s leading position within the marketplace.
To be successful in this role, you will already have at least two years editorial experience and know how to create engaging content for your audience at speed.
You’ll be working in an exciting, fast-paced publishing environment so will need an eye for detail and a nose for a great story.
You will be highly organised and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of the K-12 and higher education sectors would be an advantage but is not essential.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- - Planning and writing the content for multiple email newsletters
- - Developing knowledge and relevant contacts in the sectors the titles serve to further their reputation as authoritative, accurate and timely
- - Working with the sales team and developing business relationships and initiatives
- - Representing the brands at conferences
