**Build 4WDs properly. Fit bull bars, canopies, GVM, electrical. Work hands-on with quality-focused team.**

We're looking for an experienced Accessory Fitter or Auto Electrician with accessories experience to join our full mechanical workshop on the Sunshine Coast. You'll fit premium 4WD accessories (bull bars, canopies, bash plates, towbars), handle 12V electrical systems, assist with GVM work, and do it right—no shortcuts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Accessory Fitting

- Fit bull bars, canopies, roof racks, bash plates, towbars to 4WD vehicles
- Install GVM upgrade components and suspension modifications
- Quality finishes on every install—our reputation depends on it
- Work from technical drawings and specifications

12V Electrical Systems

- Install and troubleshoot auxiliary battery systems
- Fit power distribution and charging systems and solar components
- Work with contemporary 4WD electrical systems and components

Quality & Efficiency

- Ensure every job is fitted correctly, tested, and finished to spec
- Communicate with customers about installation progress and outcomes
- Work efficiently—manage your time and workflow
- Support the wider workshop team on complex builds

WHO YOU ARE

- Experienced accessory fitter or qualified auto electrician with hands‑on 4WD or automotive background
- Quality‑obsessed: You don't release a job until it's genuinely right
- Problem‑solver: You figure out how to make complex installs work
- Organized: You manage tools, components, and jobs systematically
- Safety‑focused:



You follow procedures and protect vehicles and team
- Communicative: You can explain what you're doing and why to customers and team

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- 3+ years hands‑on experience in automotive accessory fitting OR auto electrical work
- Proven track record installing bull bars, canopies, towbars, or similar accessories
- Ability to read technical diagrams and work to specifications
- Current driver's license
- Own tools (we'll discount replacements and upgrades)
- Willingness to work on 4WD electrical systems (we'll train and support)

Highly Desirable:

- Certificate II / III in Automotive Accessory Fitting or Auto Electrical (formal or proven through experience)
- 12V/24V system knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with Redarc, Projecta, Offroad Animal or similar 4WD electrical brands
- Understanding of vehicle suspension and tow systems
