We're growing, and we're looking for a Finance Controller to lead our finance function and help build a strong, sustainable foundation for the care we deliver.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Controller is our most senior finance position — combining hands-on financial operations with the strategy, governance and controls that keep our organisation solid. You'll lead a small, dedicated finance team and partner with leaders right across the business.

What you'll do

- Lead financial reporting — timely, accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, plus dashboards and insights for the Managing Director and Governing Body
- Oversee payroll, invoicing and billing, including NDIS and aged care claims
- Review and oversee accounts payable, reconciliations and financial controls
- Own financial governance and compliance with the Aged Care Act, Prudential Standards and NDIS requirements
- Manage financial risk, insurance and long-term sustainability




- Guide our financial response to sector reforms
- Mentor and develop the finance team

What you'll bring

- CPA/CA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 8+ years' experience in financial management (aged care or disability services highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of financial governance, compliance and reporting
- Hands-on experience across payroll, invoicing and accounts payable
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine, people-first mindset
