The Thoroughbred Hotel – Scone

The Thoroughbred Hotel is seeking an positive reliable domestic cook with a strong background in quality, home-style meals.

We are looking for someone who can:

- Prepare consistently good quality domestic style food
- Produce quality home-style dishes and tapas food
- Willing to learn to work confidently and efficiently in a commercial kitchen
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation
- Work well independently and as part of a small team

The successful applicant should be dependable, well organised, friendly and take genuine pride in the food they prepare.

NO experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, catering or commercial kitchen is required. Relevant food-safety qualifications would be an advantage.

Hours and employment arrangements can be discussed with the right applicant however generally late afternoon and evenings only at this stage.
