We are looking for a passionate Chef/Cook/Apprentice to join our team at the Eling Forest Cafe in Sutton Forest, NSW. This is a casual role where you will play a key part in creating delicious and high-quality meals for our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and customer orders
- Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Working collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
What we're looking for
- Relevant experience in a similar role, or qualifications in a Hospitality & Tourism or Chefs/Cooks field
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Enthusiasm for creating delicious, high-quality meals
